Accepted Payment Methods
All service payments made are non-refundable; see Refund policies below for detailed information
In-Office
All in-office services require a non-refundable commitment deposit with the balance due at the time of service, or according to the payment option you choose at the time of purchase. Note: some in-office services require full payment prior to scheduling.
Acceptable payment methods for in-office services:
- Cash, exact change only
- Check^, only if drawn on a local or a major USA bank
- Money Order/Cashiers Check^, only if drawn on a local or a major USA bank
- not accepting online/digital payments, at this time; no exceptions
Remote/Distant -
All remote/distance services must be paid in full prior to scheduling the first session, or according to the payment option you choose at the time of purchase.
Acceptable payment methods for remote/distant services:
- Cash, exact change only
- Check^, only if drawn on a major USA bank; must clear before services are rendered
- Money Order/Cashiers Check^, only if drawn on a major USA bank; must clear before services are rendered
- not accepting online/digital payments, at this time; no exceptions
^ all returned/NSF checks will be liable for a $150 returned/NSF fee per incident; if you provide a check that is returned/NSF, you will be required to pay the amount of the check plus the $150 prior to your next appointment and all future payments must be made in cash for a period of up to one full calendar year.
Services, Refunds
Refunds for services are not permitted, ever. If you do not wish to continue with the services you are currently enrolled in, you forfeit all payments you have made to date and any and all remaining balances will be due upon cancellation of services or according to the schedule payment option you choose at the time of purchase or according to a schedule agreed upon between Reiki & Bio-Balancing Therapies / L. Sabrina DeVaney and you.
All cancellations must be in writing, contain your full name, complete address, phone (w/ area code), email address, name of the service(s), and be hand-signed and dated.
Cancellations must be mailed via post. Please contact for proper mailing address, if needed.
Once a payment has been remitted, refunds are not available, whether or not you have begun receiving services. If services have not begun, you have 30 days to start, or to move funds to another service and start, otherwise you forfeit all payments.
Payments are non-transferable to other parties or persons. Once payment and service is allocated to your account, only you may use them.
Missed Appointment Fees
A 72-hour advance notice is required if you are unable to keep your appointment. Less than 72-hour advance notice and no call/shows will be required to pay 100% of the service fee of the missed appointment before continuing services, rescheduling, or scheduling future services, unless you can prove reasonable cause**.
Courses & Trainings, Refunds
Refunds for courses/trainings are given only if a course* is canceled by Reiki & Bio-Balancing Therapies / L. Sabrina DeVaney. I do not accept responsibility for changes in your personal circumstances and reserve the right to alter/cancel any of the available courses. If there is no reasonable cause, you may move your course forward to a new start date after booking and paying for a course. Reiki & Bio-Balancing Therapies / L. Sabrina DeVaney must be notified of this no less than 72 hours prior to a course start date or your entire course payment will be forfeited.
Any and all remaining unpaid course fees must be paid in full at the time of cancellation or according to a schedule agreed upon between Reiki & Bio-Balancing Therapies / L. Sabrina DeVaney and you.

* The word "course" is meant to include all courses, trainings, classes, mentoring, workshops, lectures, and events.
** Reasonable Cause: Extenuating circumstances, such as a death in the immediate family, hospitalization, etc., must be submitted in writing and be accompanied by proofs. All refunds in extenuating circumstances must be approved by L. Sabrina DeVaney. A period of 120 days from receipt of cancellation request is reserved for any refunds granted.
